Perfect fit. The frame is 1995 model and had the Shimano model SP-16 cable guide. These are hard to find and a little pricey. The SP-18 comes in several flavors (designated by the -s -m or -t suffix). My model was the -t and fits well. I have not had a chance to make a ride since installation, so I can’t comment on durability. I would hope that being a newer model it will hold up just as well as the original model.One comment noted having to snip some tabs on the bracket. This part cannot be changed without replacing the shifter cables, as they need to be routed through the bracket.
